Magadan Region’s gold output rises 15% to 29.7 tns in Jan–Sep
MAGADAN, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Gold output of Russia’s Magadan Region increased 14.98% on the year to 29.722 tonnes in January–September, a representative of the regional government’s natural resources department told PRIME on Friday.
Ore gold output rose 34.96% to 14.235 tonnes, and alluvial gold production increased 1.2% to 15.488 tonnes.
Silver output fell 7.04% to 538.313 tonnes in the period.
Magadan Region’s gold output rose 18.23% to 32.951 tonnes in 2017. In 2018, gold production in the region is projected at 37.1 tonnes.
